How can advanced surgery reach more people?
Born in Jodhpur and educated in Ajmer, Dr. Sudhir Prem Srivastava trained in the United States and Canada before building a career in cardiothoracic surgery in North America.
His work in minimally invasive and robotic cardiac surgery led to academic appointments, international teaching and surgical program development. Returning to India in 2011 brought a new focus: developing technology to make robotic surgery more accessible.

Minimally invasive cardiac surgery
Introduced Minimally Invasive Direct Coronary Artery Bypass in the Permian Basin.
The ThoraCAB approach
Developed and introduced a beating-heart bypass approach through a lateral thoracotomy incision.

Co-founded Alliance Hospital in Odessa with ten other physicians.
